With the demand of new housing declining, we are taking this opportunity to expand our business and do more remodeling projects. We felt it would be best to give back to the community. One way to give back to the neighborhoods, is to invest our time and money in remodeling empty homes. We are excited about this venture of taking an empty old house, remodeling it, and giving it some new features. Unlike some other investors, we don't want to take advantage of other peoples' hardships by adding empty houses to our inventory. We don't want to let houses sit empty while we wait for the opportunity to make large profits off future real estate deals. We want to make a difference now and make these empty homes affordable for someone today.

Mike Scholl, President of Scholl Construction and Services, has been building for over 27 years! He started with Scholl Builders which was founded by his father, George Scholl. Being trained by the best, Mike opened up his own business in 1986. Scholl Construction and Services. has carried on the family legacy and has mastered the art of construction for another 23 years. The Scholl name has a great reputation for quality work and excellence.

VALUE as defined by the dictionary is the worth of a thing in money or goods, an estimate worth or the quality of a thing that makes it more desirable and useful. Everyone wants a good deal. Unfortunately, consumers may think a good deal is getting the cheapest price which consequently often substitutes value. The lowest price does not always guarantee the best value because in the long run the consumer may end up paying more for lesser value items.

Scholl Construction and Services is a licensed and insured incorporation. And did you know that it is required by the state of Michigan that anyone providing $600 or more in materials and/or labor for most residential remodeling, construction or repair must have a builder’s license? New legislation bills affecting residential builders, maintenance, and alteration contractors were signed by the Governor on December 20, 2007, which was effective June 1, 2008.

       WARRANTY

Below is our warranty. Written warranties attached to individual job proposal contract agreements supersedes this the warranty below.  

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

Scholl Construction and Services, hereby warrants our work will be free of any or all such work that may prove defective in workmanship or materials within that period. This warranty covers defective materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date on this proposal contract as stated in the above effective date listed on page one. Pursuant to this warranty, Scholl Construction and Services, shall, at its option, repair and/or replace the defective material(s) and/or workmanship.


Ordinary wear and tear, unusual abuse or neglect by the client (owner), together with any other work, which may be damaged or displaced in so doing is not covered under this warranty. Air conditioner units, appliances, doors, furnaces, roof shingles, water heater, windows, and other manufactured component products are not covered by this warranty. Warranties on these types of items are covered under the manufacturer(s) warranty. Any claims pursuant to these warranties shall be handled directly between the client (homeowner) and the specific manufacturer(s). Further, it is specifically understood that there are no other warranties given by Scholl Construction and Services, in conjunction with your new construction, express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever, including without limitation, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, expect as expressly set forth in this residential builder's warranty.


       OUR FEES
 


Free Estimates:
We give free estimates with no charge to the clients. Scholl Construction and Services will give one free estimate per project. Any changes to be made after the initial free estimate that results in a new estimate, will result in an estimation charge for additional written estimates.

Insurance estimates:
Any written estimates for insurance work will have a fee.

  • Start at $300.00 for up to 2000 sq. ft.
  • $25.00 for every 500 sq. ft. after


Drawings and Blueprints:
Any blueprints created by Scholl Construction and Services to complete a job proposal can be purchased from Scholl Construction and Services, Inc. for a fee of: One dollar ($1.00) a square foot for the living area.


Any drawings created by Scholl Construction and Services to complete a job proposal can be purchased from Scholl Construction and Services, Inc. for a fee of: Four Hundred and 00/100 dollars ($400.00).

       HOME INSPECTIONS
 

Scholl Construction and Services has been in business and has mastered the art of construction for 19 years. The Scholl name has a great reputation for quality work and excellence. Our experience and expertise shine during our home inspections.


After our completed inspection, you will receive a copy of the home inspection that is binded in a Home Inspection Report booklet.

  • Start at $350.00 for up to 2000 sq. ft.

  • Start at $300.00 for up to 2000 sq. ft.
  • $25.00 for every 500 sq. ft. after
